Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
 
The School of Nursing & Public health are looking for 8 Nursing Students to support a virtual visit day on 27th April from 9:45am-12:30pm.
 
The day will take place on-site in the Brooks Building and will include:
  • Providing tours and demonstrations of the facilities in the Brooks building for an online audience of prospective students
  • Talking about your time on the programme and what students can expect from studying Nursing at Manchester Met as part of an online group of prospective students
The visit day will be run by the Nursing Department Admissions team. You will be briefed by staff on arrival and will be supported by staff during all activities. 

 

 This is an opportunity to gain experience working as part of a team to deliver a virtual event, and support the Nursing Admissions team.

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements - 
 
  • Enrolled on Year 2 or 3 of a BSc Nursing, MSc Nursing or FdSc Nursing Associate programme
  • Able to commit to attending on 27th April from 9:45am-12:30pm
  • Good communication skills - able to talk about your university experience clearly and confidently in an online setting
  • Confident interacting with new people in an online setting, as part of a group
  • Comfortable demonstrating scenarios in the skills labs for an audience, with the support of a tutor
  • Able to follow direction and instruction from teaching staff when required
