Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
 
 Who: This job ad is open to Business and Law students at an undergraduate and postgraduate level.  
 

What: We’re looking for students to act as models in a Business School photography refresh project. The photoshoot will run for one day and will focus on capturing a suits of imagery around collaboration/communication. During the day you will be in a series of rooms in the business school where academics will run mock lectures/seminars.

When: We will be shooting the images on Tuesday 21 April 9:00am - 4:00pm and Wednesday 22 April 9:00am - 4:00pm. Shifts may be half day or full day (depending on subject areas and requirements on the day).

Where: All images will be taken in the business school.  

Why: Our aim is to capture high-quality, engaging photographs that showcase the student experience within the business school. We will be focusing on three key areas: digital business, collaboration/community and practical learning.  

These images will be used across digital platforms (website, social media and emails) that we use to promote our programmes to prospective students and give an authentic insight into life at Manchester Met.  

Dates: 21 April and 22 April 2026
Hours: Between 9:00am - 4:00pm both days.

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met students within the Faculty of Business and Law who are: 
 
  • Comfortable being photographed in various settings (e.g., in lectures, group work, social spaces)  
  • Confident and approachable, with a friendly and positive attitude as you’ll be asked to chat with your peers to create realistic and engaging shots  
  • A team player, as you’ll be working within a group for the full three-day period  
  • Passionate about sharing an authentic student experience  
  • Reliable and able to commit to the three-day project 
  • Able to take instruction and feedback
