The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
We are recruiting students to take part in the International Onboarding Experience research project. This study will focus on understanding the real journey applicants experience when applying to Manchester Met — specifically when completing the MMU Direct Application (not UCAS).
The aim of this research is to understand:
- How international applicants interact with our application channels.
- What challenges or confusion they encounter.
- Where hesitation or drop‑off happens.
- What feels clear, unclear, or missing from the process.
Your insights will directly help us improve the application experience for future international students.
This is not a test—there are no right or wrong answers. We simply want your real experience.
Dates: April 2026 (to be arranged with successful candidates)
Time: between 1pm–4pm (participants will select a 1‑hour slot but will be paid for 2 hours)
Location: Manchester Met campus (room details provided after booking)
What You Will Do:
- Complete an online application form and share your thoughts aloud.
- Reflect on moments of clarity or confusion.
- Explain any hesitation or uncertainty.
- Discuss your own international applicant journey.
