Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

We are looking for a motivated and creative student photographer to capture a Young Enterprise event. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event photography, build your portfolio, and work in a dynamic, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Capture high-quality photographs throughout the event, including:
- Team presentations
- Networking moments
- Award ceremonies
- Candid interactions
Ensure a variety of shots (wide, close-up, candid, and staged)
Deliver a selection of edited images within an agreed timeframe

Date: 7 May 2026

Event time: 9:45am to 4:45pm

Editing time: 3.5 hours

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students.

The successful applicant will be expected to provide their own equipment. For students on eligible courses, this can be loaned from the campus AV Store.

Current student with an interest in photography, media, or a related field
Access to your own camera equipment, or ability to borrow this from the AV Store
Basic editing skills (e.g., Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Friendly and professional attitude when interacting with participants
