The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
The Graduation Team are looking for 8 students to work as Procession Stewards for our graduation ceremonies at The Bridgewater Hall. The ceremonies take place between Tuesday 14 July to Friday 24 July 2026 (excluding weekends), plus compulsory in person training on 23 June 2026, 10am - 11am.
As a steward, you will support with gathering and leading staff who sit on the stage at graduation ceremonies into the auditorium and onto the stage. At the end of the ceremony, you will return to the stage to guide them off the platform and out of the auditorium.
You may also be asked to take up other duties as required.
To apply for this role, you must be available for the full two weeks and the training session. Exceptions can be made for extenuating circumstances, like your own graduation ceremony.
Working hours are as follows: 8:30am - 7:30pm (please note the finish time is approximate as this may vary by ceremony size and running time). There will be breaks around ceremonies, food and refreshments provided.
