Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
 
 We are looking for approximately 5 students to appear as ‘extras’ in video content being created by the International Marketing team. We would like to hire students who feel comfortable on camera and are proud to represent the University.
 

As an ‘extra’ you will appear alongside international students who are being filmed as part of a video project about employability. You will not be required to speak on camera. 

 

 Please note, you must have availability as follows: 

 

Wednesday 3 June 2026, for one or both of the following slots: 

 

12pm – 4pm 

4pm – 8pm 

 

Please specify which slots you can do. 

 


Briefing: 

 

Prior to the filming date, you will receive a briefing document, outlining all the information you will need to know.

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students.
 
    • Be a friendly, engaging and positive representative of your course, department and Manchester Met 
    • Feel confident in front of a camera  
    • Excellent verbal and written English 
    • Ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of contexts 
    • Good organisational and presentation skills  
    • Presentable and professional 
    • Able to ‘think on your feet’
