The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
This is a role to contribute as a member of the technical team
- Assisting with out-of-term projects
- Supporting the preparation of workshops and resources for the upcoming semester and academic year
- Develop specialist skills in plaster and ceramics, gaining practical knowledge of different clay bodies, mould-making, casting, glass workshop processes, hot glass experience, glass materials and ceramic/glass processes
- Support workshop staff in maintaining efficient studio operations, including preparing workspaces, organising materials, monitoring and replenishing stock, and ensuring equipment and resources were ready for practical sessions
- Alongside these responsibilities, continue to refine and strengthen personal technical skills and studio practices within plaster, ceramics or glass disciplines

Times: 9:00am - 4:30pm with 45 minute unpaid break
Hours: 14 hours per week
