The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
There is an opportunity for students to work as part of a team of Degree Show Invigilators to support the successful exhibition of student work. The Degree Show celebrates the achievements of this year’s final-year students with a showcase of work from across Art, Design, Fashion, Digital Arts, Performance and Architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure digital and physical work is set up / turned on at start of day, and off at end of day, and that it remains in good working order throughout the day.
- Patrol the buildings to ensure the exhibition is running as it should and is safe.
- Greet visitors and support wayfinding for the exhibition where appropriate.
- Be on hand to answer any queries from visitors of the exhibitions.
- Be aware of and support the signposting to content warnings
Please note you will work as part of a team of invigilators and a rota will be built around the dates and times below:
Dates:
Weekdays: from 8th – 19th June between 4-7pm.
Weekends: Saturday 6 June & Sunday 7 June and Saturday 13 June & Sunday 14 June
