Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

Manchester Movement Unit are looking for x2 Sports Massage Therapists to provide treatments to staff, students, and the general public. 

Dates: week commencing 19 October 2026 - week commencing 25 January 2027. To be reviewed in January. 

Times: 3 hours a week/ x1 clinic day. Day and times to be agreed upon job offer. 

The successful applicants will be required to complete an induction on the 15 of October 2026.

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements:
 
  • Must have minimal level 3 sports massage therapy certificate.
  • Must have enhanced DBS cleared and indemnity insurance in place.
  • Must have at least 1 year experience post qualification.
  • Clear, concise verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to write concise and clear, reports and notes in English.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work.
  • Ability to work well with others and pass on skills and knowledge.
  • Committed to personal and team development.
  • Professional attitude.
  • Ability to motivate.
  • Enthusiastic.
  • Able to accept responsibilities and use initiative.
  • Relevant governing body registered. Proof will be required at interview stage.
