Overview 

The Recruitment and Admissions (R&A) team are currently seeking to recruit proactive, organised, professional, and enthusiastic students currently studying an undergraduate course at Manchester Met to become Student Ambassadors. 

Successful applicants will assist in the delivery of the University’s core recruitment and widening participation strategies. Successful candidates will work various roles where they are required to provide information to prospective students including the benefits of higher education and address the key selling points of Manchester Met.  

The Student Ambassador roles are casual, offering flexibility when working around study/life commitments. Work opportunities are more frequent during school terms.  

Student Ambassadors 

Student Ambassadors are mostly required for front of house duties at university recruitment events, such as Open Days and Visit Days. Most of the recruitment events are on Wednesdays and Saturdays, therefore you will typically need to be available on these days. The role could also include assisting with office duties such as supporting with the Clearing period in the months of July or August.

Application Process 

The application process consists of an initial written application form. Success at this stage will result in an invite to demonstrate your skills through our assessment centre which will include a series of group activities.  

Assessment Centre  

The assessment centre will be conducted on campus, and successful applicants will be invited to select a date and time between Monday 19 and Friday 23 October 2026.
