The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
We are seeking enthusiastic and approachable students to support fellow students studying the Level 5 Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods module.
Working alongside the module teaching team, you will provide peer support during practical computer lab sessions throughout Semester 1. You will help students develop their research skills by answering questions, supporting learning activities, and encouraging engagement with lab-based exercises.
The role includes paid preparation time before teaching sessions, and full training and ongoing guidance will be provided. No previous teaching experience is required.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop valuable transferable skills, including communication, leadership, problem-solving, teamwork, and confidence in supporting others. The experience gained will strengthen future job, placement, teacher training, research, and postgraduate study applications.
Contract Period: Week commencing 5 October to Friday 18 December
Hours of Work: Approximately 2-4 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours depending on student demand and availability.
