This opportunity is open to current Manchester Met students only. To apply, you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
The BioEffective Surfaces for Transport (BEST) Network is a UK-wide research initiative led by Manchester Metropolitan University. The network brings together researchers, industry partners and transport professionals to advance the development and understanding of antimicrobial materials used in transport systems and the built environment.
We are seeking a student intern to undertake a structured review of research evidence relating to antimicrobial materials. The project will explore how these materials perform in both laboratory testing and real-world environments, helping to create a clear and accessible evidence base that can support future research, stakeholder engagement and knowledge exchange activities.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop research, analytical and communication skills while contributing to a nationally significant research network.
