The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
Manchester Met’s International Office run webinars and events throughout the year designed for prospective international students to provide them with more information on the University and the application process, as well as key services and support available. The "Destination - Manchester" webinar gives attendees (prospective students) the opportunity to hear from current international students about their experience living and studying in Manchester. You will also be asked to create a minimum of two slides highlighting your favourite things in and about Manchester, and will be expanding on your points during the live webinar. In addition, there will be an opportunity for webinar attendees to participate in a Q&A.
We would love to hear about your experience living in Manchester and studying at Manchester Met. As part of the live webinar on Wednesday 4 November (time TBC but held some time between 12pm-3pm for one hour), we would like you to talk about your experience for around 5 minutes and answer any relevant questions that webinar attendees may have. In particular we would like to hear your top tips for future students and how to make the most of the time here in the city, including those important first weeks after arriving in the UK. We would also like you to have your camera on while you talk during the webinar. We will provide guidelines and suggestions for the topics you might want to cover and there will also be a briefing session where you can ask further questions. The webinar will be lead by a member of the International Office.
