Job Description

Reclaim Tentwear is seeking skilled product development assistant to help craft our next product line, transforming discarded festival tents into bold, functional garments. Our current collection includes ponchos, bucket hats, and bags, and we’re excited to expand even further!

We’re looking for creative minds who have experience with sewing machines and creating clothing patterns to help create our already existing products and shape our next line. If you’re passionate about sustainable fashion and want to be part of something innovative (with a hint of adventure), we’d love to hear from you!

Dates: March - May 2025

Hours: 75 hours total (7.5 hours per week)

Person Specification

This role is open to current Manchester Met students studying within the Manchester Fashion Institute who have:

1. Experience with a sewing machine and garment manufacturing.
2. Able to complete garments to a high quality.
3. Experience with patterns and possibly be able to make alterations.

4. Will need access to your own space to sew.
