Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
 
The Nutrition and Dietetic team are looking for two students to carry out work categorising manuscripts within a reference database (Endnote) for subsequent review work.
 
Duties will include:
 
Moving manuscripts from an existing (main) folder in the EndNote application into sub folders according to their topic. This will be done by determining the topic from the manuscript title and/or abstract. Initial training will be given and there will be clear instruction and guidance notes provided to aid the day to day delivery of the required work.
 
Date(s): 8 May 2025 - 30 June 2025
Hours of Work: 10 hours per week
Details of briefing/training: Initial training will be provided. Where categorisation proves difficult, meetings will be set up to discuss and finalise. 

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements - 
 
Essential
  •  Are undertaking a postgraduate clinical/health based course eg dietetics, nutrition, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, or nursing
  • Have experience using Endnote, the reference management software
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively across a part-time schedule
  • Able to apply written instructions and guidance to work setting
