This opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students who study a postgraduate course in the Faculty of Business and Law. To apply for the role, you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
Are you a postgraduate student with a positive experience to share? On Wednesday 2 July we’re hosting an event for prospective postgraduate students who have an offer to study a course at Manchester Met this September.
The aim of the event is to give visitors a taste for what to expect on their postgraduate course. The afternoon will involve interactive taster sessions with tutors and current students and a student life fair.
During the event, your role will include:
- Welcoming and networking with guests
- Supporting an interactive subject/taster session for your course
- Signposting visitors to the student life fair and other locations
Your primary role is to support your subject session. The timings of these sessions vary depending on the subject/activity. The earliest session will begin at 3:15pm and the latest session at 4:15pm – all subject sessions will end at 5:15pm. In order to apply for this role, you must be available during the subject/activity window, plus a buffer at the start and end of the session to allow for set-up, welcoming guests and signposting (2:00pm–5:30pm). When applying for the role, please state whether you are available for the whole event (2:00pm–7:00pm) or just the subject session (2:00pm–5:30pm).
