Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

Greater Manchester Higher are looking for a skilled videographer to record and edit sit down interviews of 8 school-age learners who have taken part in a mentoring programme.

The Successful candidate will set up one camera filming for the interviews and edit the videos into succinct 30 second clips of each of the 8 interviewees and one longer video (max 3 minutes) compiling all the interviews into one video.

Filming locations/times and an editing brief will be provided by the Hiring Manager once the successful candidate has been appointed.

Date: Wednesday 25 June, 10-2pm.

Time: Approximately 4 hours

Additional editing time: 10 hours

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students.

Essential

- Must supply own videography equipment, including 1x high-resolution video camera and tripod, microphone, and SD cards with sufficient storage
- Previous experience in videography, ideally in a similar capacity (interview-style videos/working with young people)
- Ability to capture high-quality footage in varying lighting conditions
- Reliability and capacity to deliver a polished, edited video promptly after the event - exact requirements to be discussed at role briefing
