Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

This internship will involve the investigation of glacial lake outburst flood sediments from SE Iceland. This will include laboratory analysis of lake sediments, satellite remote sensing, and literature searching. It is ideally suited to a student with an interest in Physical Geography.

Dates: 16 June 2025 - 11 July 2025

Hours of Work: 80 (total)

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements -

The candidate will have an interest in, and experience of, analysing sediment samples.
