Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

Event to be covered: I-TELL 2025. Grosvenor Building, ManMet.

An event videography brief will be provided before the event takes place with details of the event and delivery requirements. A meeting time will be set up to go through the brief to ensure that video capture, editing requirements and deadlines are understood and agreed. Including the event and briefing meeting time, this is a contract for 30 hours in total.

Date: Wednesday 12 June 2025

Event Time: 9am - 4pm

Editing time: 21 hours

Please bear in mind that the successful student will need to review the full length of video recorded and have time to edit this and so should be longer than the event time.

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students.

Essential

The successful applicant will be expected to provide their own equipment.
Proven experience in videography, including event coverage and post-production editing.
Strong proficiency with video recording equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet post-event editing deadlines.
Attention to detail in both filming and editing to ensure professional-quality output.
Clear communication skills and willingness to attend a pre-event briefing session.
