Background
This role offers a valuable opportunity for a recent Manchester Met graduate to gain hands-on experience in digital content creation and strategy. As a Content Strategy and Innovation Coordinator, you will support the development and maintenance of engaging content across internal and external platforms, helping to promote key initiatives such as the Innovation Scholar Scheme. You’ll work closely with colleagues to ensure consistent messaging, while also developing your digital skills and gaining insight into content planning and delivery in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities
As a Content Strategy and Innovation Coordinator, you will contribute to the planning and execution of content strategies that support the university’s communication goals. You will be responsible for ensuring content is aligned with brand guidelines and audience needs, while also identifying opportunities to enhance engagement through innovative formats and platforms. The role involves working collaboratively with colleagues across departments, managing timelines for content delivery, and contributing to the continuous improvement of digital communication practices.
Key Tasks
- Content Creation: Develop engaging content for the website.
- Content Review: Update and maintain existing content.
- Collaboration: Work with team members to ensure cohesive content delivery.
- Digital Skills Development: Use and improve digital tools and practices.
- Project Involvement: Participate in projects promoting the Innovation Scholar Scheme.

Dates: Monday 18 August - Friday 7 November 2025
Hours: 35 hours per week full time, except for Bank Holiday Monday (25 August 2025)
Working pattern: Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:45am-4:30pm or 9:00am-4:45pm with an unpaid 45-minute lunch break
