Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
 
2 students are required each month to film and edit Bunker Talks at The Salutation (and alternative venues). Each event features guest speaker and host and will require two camera shoot and edit with additional sound recording using radio mics.
 
The edited talks are added to archive of over 150 talks on Manchester School of Art website. For more information about Bunker Talks and running order see here: https://www.art.mmu.ac.uk/bunkertalks/

Tuesday 7 October – Mufaro Makubika

Tuesday 4 November - Rachel Smith

Tuesday 18 November – Asia Triennial Manchester (Poetry Library)

Tuesday 2 December - Harry Wilson (TBC)

Event Times: 4:00pm-7:00pm
Editing time: 3 hours
 
Please Note - successful students will need to borrow and return equipment for the event from Technical Services / AV Store

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students. There is potential to roll this over to Spring Semester.
 
The successful applicant will not be expected to provide their own equipment but will need to borrow from AV store.
