This opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students who study a postgraduate course in the Faculty of Business and Law. To apply for the role, you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
Are you a postgraduate student with a positive experience to share? On Tuesday 7 July we’re hosting an event for prospective postgraduate students who have an offer to study a course at Manchester Met this September.
The aim of the event is to give visitors a taste for what to expect on their postgraduate course. The afternoon will involve interactive taster sessions, a networking session with tutors and current students, and a student life fair.
During the event, your role will include:
- Welcoming guests and signposting to subject sessions
- Supporting an interactive subject taster session for your course
- Speaking to prospective students during a networking session
- Signposting visitors to the student life fair and other locations
Your primary role is to support your subject session. The timings of these sessions will vary depending on the subject/activity. The earliest session will begin at 3pm and the latest session at 4pm – all subject sessions will end at 5pm, followed by a networking session (5pm – 6pm) and a student life fair.
In order to apply for this role, you must be available for the full duration. However, your start time will depend on the start time of your subject session (to be confirmed in due course):
- 2:15pm for sessions starting at 3pm
- 2:45pm for sessions starting at 3:30pm
- 3:15pm for sessions starting at 4pm
